This week I took photographs for the Foundation Degree Costume Construction for Screen and Stage course at Coleg Morgannwg. The 1st year students from the Art Centre at Coleg Morgannwg, Nantgarw were required to produce costumes from the Wizard of Oz made entirely from denim.

I was recently commissioned to produce some photographs for promotional material to advertise new courses for September at Coleg Morgannwg.

I spent some more time with Run with Fire today, working in the Photographic Studio on promotional material for the bands Facebook page...https://www.facebook.com/RunWithFire and other advertising.

Today I was in the recording studio with Run with Fire, whilst they were laying down their new track 'Echoes through'.

Run with Fire are a Cardiff based four-piece alternative heavy rock band, made up of Gareth Emanuel - Vocals, Nathan Williams - Lead/Rhythm Guitar, Aryan Khan - Bass and Edmund Wong - Drums.

I recently went back to the Cardiff Devils to photograph Stevie Lyle's Testimonial Game at Cardiff International Ice Rink.

Devils Legends from the past came back to join Lyle to celebrate. Lyle is now in his third consecutive season with his hometown and the 11th of his professional career. After making his debut as a 14 year old, Lyle was named netminder of the tournament when the Cardiff Devils became the first british club to qualify for the semi-finals of the Continental Cup. In 1997 he was named MVP for the Superleague, backstopping the Devils to the first ever ISL League title.

A spell in North America followed before a return to Cardiff in the ISL and then Manchester Storm. When the Storm then folded midway through the season he returned to Cardiff for the remainder of the 2002-03 season, helping them to the BNL Playoff final.

A couple of seasons in the BNL followed before a season each in Italy and France. In 2007 he returned to Britain to play in the EIHL, briefly for Basingstoke and then Belfast. In 2009 though the lure of Cardiff brought him home once more.

At the end of this month, I teamed up with singer and songwriter Gareth Emanuel to shoot a music video and stills on location. In addition, we worked in the studio on some promotional material.

None of the 50 photos are photoshopped, this is to emphasize the natural beauty and the professionalism of the photographers, simply beautiful.

Each year I visit the Tate Britain and the Tate Modern in London. This year, the Tate Britain offered an exhibition by Don McCullin, internationally known British photojournalist particularly recognised for his war photography and images of urban strife.

The New Year started with shooting stars on the top of the Blorenge, just for fun. The Blorenge is a prominent hill which overlooks the valley of the River Usk in Mounmouthshire, Southeast Wales. It is situated in the southeastern corner of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The summit plateau reaches a height of 1,841 feet.

What a year! Here's to 2012 being a more quiet and less destructive year.
